Love Speaks

Week 34 of the Calendar Year

‘I made all things and I ask that everyone make a home for me in themselves.
I ask the river that I may flow in her; 
The sea that I may swim in her; 
The mountain that I may sleep in her;  
The sun that I may rise in him; 
The fire that I may burn in him; 
You, that I may love in you. 

‘I have made a home for myself in your heart, 
That I may live in you and love in you. 
Together, we form the chalice of love.
I live in your heart and you live in mine. 
We hold the chalice as love floods in. 
Then we pour the love out through the door of your heart and let it flood the earth. 

‘I write my love onto your heart.
Open your heart and let my words of love flow from you as hieroglyphs of love;
Let them float on the wind, guided by my currents. 
They will find their home in the hearts of those who love me. 
Words of love burn in the hearts of those who hear and receive my love. 

See the chalice bubbling over with the words of my love —
Like golden light dancing on the surface of the sea; 
Like flowers dancing in the June sunlight. 
Let my words of love flow from your heart and your pen and make their way where I will.’
